Download firmware updates from the Phoenix website support page https://www.phoenixgeophysics.com/downloads-support. Firmware updates are available at no charge, and Phoenix recommends all users upgrade to the latest receiver firmware version.
Firmware is then loaded onto an 32GB SD card and the update is done manually off-line.
Updating a receiver's firmware should take less than 15 minutes.
