We recommend having the latest firmware version available. All Phoenix firmware undergoes extensive testing before release and is ready for use in scientific instrumentation and commercial production environments.
Note that data from a receiver can only be imported and processed by an EMpower version *HIGHER* than the firmware version used to create that data.
